Cochran sets fundraisers

Mayoral candidate Elle Cochran will hold two fundraisers this month, according to an announcement.

A brunch will feature locally sourced foods from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Pueo Farm in Kula. Tickets cost $50, and attendance is limited to 50 guests.

Pueo Farm is a new Kula farm with Australian finger limes, protea and special greenhouse organic tomatoes.

The second fundraiser will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 16 at the Maui Tropical Plantation in Waikapu. The Chef’s Table event will celebrate locally sourced food favorites, and there will be entertainment by Amy Hanaiali’i Gilliom. Tickets cost $75.
