Supporters of Biden-Harris to meet for sign-waving event Thursday in Kahului

Supporters of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and running mate Kamala Harris will hold a sign-waving event from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday in front of the Queen Ka’ahumanu Center in Kahului.

Sign-wavers are asked to space themselves out in units of 10 people or less and to maintain a 6-foot distance from one another within each group of 10. Face masks are required as well, organizers said.

Participants also are urged to wear a Biden/Harris shirt or the color blue and to bring signs that present a positive vision of a Biden/Harris administration and emphasize characteristics or plans proposed by the Democratic candidates.

Anyone who is unable to join the gathering is invited to drive by and honk in support, organizers said.
