Sunrise service set at Keawala’i
Keawala’i Congregational Church in Makena will have an Easter sunrise service at 7:30 a.m. Sunday. The outdoor service will include sharing of The Lord’s Supper and the Easter floral cross. Members and friends are invited to bring a single-stem flower or lei for the cross.
Easter Eucharist at Trinity By-the-Sea
Trinity By-the-Sea Episcopal Church will celebrate the resurrection of Jesus at 9 a.m. Sunday with a festival Easter Eucharist. The service will be held in the open-air sanctuary.
A children’s Easter egg hunt will follow.

Sunrise service at Wailuku church
Valley Isle Fellowship in Wailuku invites the community to join its Easter celebration Sunday. There will be a 6:30 a.m. sunrise service followed by light refreshment. A worship service will follow at 9.
The church entrance is at the top right of Kokololio Street.
Easter celebration planned at Ala Lani
Ala Lani United Methodist Church, 50 S. Papa Ave. in Kahului, will have a 6:30 a.m. Easter sunrise service Sunday. There will also be an Easter Festival at 10 a.m.
Easter celebration at King’s Cathedral
King’s Cathedral in Kahului will have 7 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Easter celebrations Sunday. There will be free admission to its “Jesus the Experience” production at 6 p.m. Sunday.
The church is located at 777 Maui Veterans Highway.
Services in English at Buddhist center
The Vietnamese Buddhist Center (Tu Hanh Temple) will have English services starting at 6 p.m. April 26 at 385 S. Puunene Ave. in Kahului. Sister Light (Tinh Quang) who recently came from Vietnam and Australia, will be conducting the English service.
The service will include sitting meditation, slow walking meditation, chanting and dharma sharing.

Easter service at Makawao Union
Makawao Union Church invites everyone to participate in the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus with activities both before and after its 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship service. Child care will be provided.
After worship comes the annual Easter egg hunt for keiki.
Makawao Union Church is located at 1445 Baldwin Ave., halfway between Paia and Makawao.
Passover seder tonight in Kihei
The Jewish Congregation of Maui will hold its annual Community Passover Seder led by Sam Shnider beginning at 6 p.m. today at Beit Shalom Synagogue, 634 Alulike St., Kihei.
