Lenten retreat at St. Joseph Makawao
St. Joseph Catholic Church in Makawao will have a Lenten Penance service at 6:30 p.m. today.
The church will also have a Lenten retreat on two days, presented by Father Ken Deasy. The theme of the retreat is “A Living Lent: A Necessity for Living Life.” The retreats will take place after the 5 p.m. Mass on March 28 and after the 9 a.m. Mass on March 29.
Fellowship and food will follow each session.
St. Joseph Catholic Church will also honor its patron saint March 16 to 18 with Mass each day at 6:30 p.m. This three-day observance precedes Saint Joseph’s feast day on March 19, which will be observed with a Solemnity of Saint Joseph Mass at 6:30 p.m. Fellowship and potluck at the gym will follow the Mass.
All are welcome to attend.
