Temple services to be livestreamed

Makawao Hongwanji Mission is holding Facebook live broadcasts of Sunday services.

The services also can be viewed later on YouTube, said the Rev. Kerry Kiyohara, resident minister of the temple. He is livestreaming services from his residence.

Buddhist study classes are offered via video-conferencing.

The temple has been closed since March 25 to comply with Mayor Michael Victorino’s emergency orders.
