St. Theresa’s new schedule

St. Theresa Church in Kihei announced its schedule for Mass and reconciliation and confession, which takes effect Saturday, to comply with revised COVID-19 emergency orders.

Mass will be held at 5 p.m. Saturdays and at 7, 9 and 11 a.m. Sundays (the latter two times are revised).

Reconciliation and confession will be held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturdays by appointment.

Due to social distancing requirements, there are a limited number of seats of 100 for each Mass. St. Theresa Mass participants must reserve seats each week for specific masses. Reservations may be made online at www.saint-theresa.com or by calling the church office at 879-4844 no later than 4:30 p.m. Fridays.

Masks must be worn at all times, except for receiving Holy Eucharist. Those who are sick or are especially vulnerable to infection should not attend Mass at this time. Bishop Larry Silva has extended the dispensation from the obligation to attend weekly Mass through June 30.
