Trinity by-the-Sea Church resumes in-person service
Trinity by-the-Sea Episcopal Church announces the resumption of their in-person Sunday Worship Service beginning at 9 a.m. Sunday.
The Holy Eucharist will be celebrated by the Rev. John Tomoso. It will be within the outdoor sanctuary site of David Malo’s historic 1850s church, located at 100 Kulanihakoi St. in Kihei.
The first Sunday of the month is Hawaiian Sunday.
Masks are mandatory and social distancing protocols will be observed. For information, call 879 – 0161.
St. Joseph ELC celebrates school week with Mass today
St. Joseph Early Learning Center is celebrating National Catholic Schools Week.
The annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States began Monday. Schools typically observe the annual celebration week with Masses, open houses, and other activities for students, families, parishioners, and community members, according to a news release.
Through these events, schools focus on the value Catholic education provides to young people and its contributions to the church, communities, and the nation.
The week will end with a statewide virtual keynote address and a coordinated Mass in each parish today.
Temple of Peace workday scheduled for today
The Temple of Peace Seva Day will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., today at 525 Haiku Road.
The workday will bring loose ends together and help the temple to begin holding Temple of Peace Sunday Celebrations, according to a news release.
General cleaning and grounds maintenance are planned. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
