Irene Marie Long, 85
Irene Marie Long, 85, passed away on October 14, 2015, at her home in Wailuku under the loving care of her family, friends, and Islands Hospice. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on March 13, 1930.
Irene was a retired Registered Nurse and worked at various hospitals and nursing homes. She moved to Maui with her husband Ben Long in 2000. She and her husband were long-time residents of Bar Harbor, Maine. She loved music and art and will be remembered for her faithful service to Jehovah.
She is predeceased by her husband, Ben Long, and brother Lou Hegybeli. She is survived by her brother, Albert Hegybeli, daughter Sally Cottle and son Mark Long (Janet).
Services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 466 Laau Street, Saturday, October 24, 2015, at 2:00 p.m.
