Gladys L. Peralta, 83, of Makawao, passed away on May 20, 2016 at her home. She was born on August 17, 1932 in Pauwela, Maui.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, June 10, 2016 at Ballard Family Mortuary, Kahului, funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., and cremation will follow.
Gladys retired from Maui Youth & Family Services where she worked as a houseparent.
She is survived by her daughter, Delilah Yap; grandchildren, Michelle (John) Awai, Raymond “Butch” (Brandi) Yap III, Rochelle (Paul) Kaauwai, Sandy Kepano, Britchard Kepano, Patrick Kepano, Sharwan (Ronald) Moniz, Brent (Dayna) Cabos, Isaiah Cruz, Casey Cabos, Keola (March) Cabos, Chanel (Matt) Alvarado, Moses (Hanako) Franco, Gerald “Bulla” Franco, Kapena (Maile) Yap, and Melveen Maalea Turrita; numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
