Aiko Mochizuki, 95
Aiko Mochizuki of Wailuku, reunited with her husband of 63 years, Komao Mochizuki, in their heavenly home on July 24, 2023.
Aiko was born on July 21, 1928, in Hilo, Hawaii.
She is survived by 5 children, Cora Ann (Roy deceased) Honda, June (Lane) Fujii, Myles (Jolynne) Mochizuki, Guy Mochizuki, and Leona (Winston) Pastrana; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
Mahalo to all who have loved and cared for her over the years – family, doctors, nurses, Islands Hospice Maui, and her CNAs.
She will always be remembered for the unconditional love she had for her family, and her desire to take care of everyone. Although she is no longer with us, her loving, generous heart will remain steadfast in the Mochizuki clan forever. We love you, Mom/Grandma Moch, and promise to continue to make family a priority and follow God’s lead in all that we do.
Services will be held on Thursday, August 10, at Nakamura Mortuary. Visitation at 9am, service at 10am.
The family requests, in lieu of koden or flowers, a donation be made to a favorite local charity in her memory.
