Travis Lucas Carroll

Travis Lucas Carroll, (43), our beloved brother and a true “forever Napili boy”, was called home to join the Lord on February 19, 2024 at Maui Memorial Medical Center with his family by his side. He was born on September 4, 1980 on Maui.

He is the son of the late Co-pastors Wayne and Pearl (Lum-Lung, Kamaka/Ralar) Carroll, Sr. of Kahana Door of Faith Church (predeceased). He is survived by his siblings: Tricia-Ann L. Ortiz-Carroll (Librado) and Wayne L. Carroll Jr.; his 2 precious nieces: Aicia Ramos-Carroll and Angelica Ramos-Carroll; also, nieces: (hanai daughters) Kenali & Rain Bogac and Tiana & Teani Marquez, Cousins: (hanai brothers) David, Bradley and Adrian Marquez. Along with numerous uncles, aunties, cousins, nieces, nephews, etc. Predeceased by grandparents, Robert William & Mildred (Maliikapu/Bunker) Carroll and late Rev. Lawrence & Louise (Lum Lung) Kamaka.

Travis worked in the Landscaping Industry (supervisor). He attended King Kamehameha III Elementary, LIS & was a proud 1998 graduate of Lahainaluna High School. Growing up on the West side in Napilihau, he played pop-warner football (Lahaina Chiefs) under Coach Kali Casco and played basketball, too. He enjoyed playing the ukulele & singing, simple home-cooking and loved riding bikes especially “Dirt biking” like no other. Later, he moved to Wailuku where he spent his last final years. He will be sorely missed! His vibrant, outgoing free-spirited & generous big-hearted nature will be remembered by many friends & family.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Ballard Family Mortuary (Kahului). Private-Family Visitation: 8-9am, Public Visitation: 9-11am; Services: 11am; cremation will follow. Lei and flowers are welcome.
