Violet Figueira
Violet C Figueira 98 of Makawao passed away peacefully on March 4th, 2025. She was born on May 27, 1926, and lived a life filled with love, passion, & resilience. She was known for her kindness, warmth, & and good humor, and always had a warm smile, & a listening ear for everyone. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother& great great grandmother & a cherished member of our family & community.
She is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Figueira & son Guy Figueira. Is survived by her loving family, including her sons; Greg (Manu) Figueira, Miles Figueira, daughters Kathleen Figueira, Gay (Mike Peavy), 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren & 2 great great grandchildren.
Violet will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial service to celebrate Violet Figueira’s life will be held on April 8th, 2025 at St. Joseph Church at 9:30am, eulogy at 10:00am, mass at 11:00am. Burial to follow at Maui Veteran’s Cemetery.
May she rest in peace and may her memory be a blessing to us all. We will forever cherish the memories we shared with her.
