Lionel Miyagawa

Lionel “Blue” Miyagawa passed away peacefully at home on July 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Lionel lived a life defined by quiet strength and a passionate love for the ocean and his ohana. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Gail Miyagawa; his children, Gary (Pam) Miyagawa, Beth (Todd) Ayotte, and Marcie Miyagawa (Tyson Omura); and his grandchildren, Kyson Omura, Kylie “Blue” Omura, Sachi Ayotte, Mahie Miyagawa, and Robbie “Blue” Miyagawa. He is also survived by his brother, Don Miyagawa (Kat), and sisters, Janice Toyama and Sandy Pasion (Ron) — each of whom held a special place in his heart. At Lionel’s request, a private family service will be held. The Miyagawa ohana extends their sincere gratitude for the love, prayers, and support received during this time of loss.
