Support Susan Schwab’s spirit of caring with donation

Maui’s animals are in mourning. They lost an outstanding friend last month. Anyone who lives here and cares about our animals, as well as the humans who care for these creatures, is aware of the East Maui Animal Refuge (EMAR), affectionately referred to as the The Boo Boo Zoo. See www.eastmauianimalrefuge.org.

After over four decades of confounding medical science, Susan Lynn Schwab finally physically succumbed and left her devoted husband, Sylvan, and countless animals who shared mutual love at their home in Haiku (The Maui News, July 29). But undoubtedly her strong spirit will live on there.

You can support that spirit and her caring with generous contributions in her name to help all the present and future animals in need by sending a check to EMAR 25 Maluaina Place Haiku 96708, or check the website. Aloha, Suzie.

I am in no way affiliated with the Boo Boo Zoo except in spirit.
