Disparity in bail amounts doesn’t reflect the offense
Can someone please explain why a 28-year-old woman arrested for first-degree terroristic threatening of two people would have bail set at $10,000 and a 58-year-old male arrested for first-degree terroristic threatening of hundreds of people in need of and giving medical attention received a $1,000 bail? He turned so many people’s lives upside down that afternoon — for what? A slap on the hand.
There is something seriously wrong with our system here.
