Is it worth the risk to not pass HB1326?

I live and farm in Omaopio and I know my water comes from East Maui. I remember in the ’60s when water was manually hauled when all of the Upcountry supplies were dry. People today are gambling about what is needed to ensure that we have reliable water supplies. Policymakers should make decisions that are the best for Hawaii, and that includes Maui. Upcountry has grown since the ’60s and how we can meet the needs of our people is worrisome without water. I know if it comes to that, I will not be able to farm. My workers will not have jobs. The vegetables I grow for Maui will not be possible. Is it worth the risk to not pass HB1326?
