Improvements needed in transfer of water

I’ve been reading so much on the water from East Maui to the treatment plant that supplies water to the Upcountry area. Several months ago they said that the water from the watersheds would be enough for the Upcountry areas. Now are you trying to say it’s not? What happened to the reservoirs we have? Have they been revised to take more capacity to support the needs?

Water again has been wasted in the transfer from point A to point B. It’s a known topic but nothing has been done. Everyone wants something done but no one wants to do it! Mahi Pono is willing, but can’t do it on its own. EMI is too busy plowing the old HC&S property. Whoever needs the water should be the ones to help repair the ditches which bring the water out.
