Some aspects of newspaper are too important to change

Wow! What a disappointment. I got up Sunday. It’s a beautiful day. I went outside to get The Maui News, and it’s not there. That’s just un-American to not have a Sunday paper.

Sunday is a day of relaxation when we look forward to lounging around, reading the big newspaper. Getting it on Saturday just isn’t the same.

Also, when the college football season starts, they play on Saturdays. But we won’t get the results until Monday. Don’t you realize how big college football is? While I’m on the subject of sports, can you please print the top 10 individual stats from the NBA, NFL and MLB in the sports section occasionally, say once a week?

Also, I’ve been keeping track of our record-breaking maximum temperatures. Are you going to put Saturday’s temperatures along with Sunday’s in Monday’s almanac? Speaking of temperatures, which one is the official temperature? Some days you have one maximum temp in the almanac and a different one in your reports inside the paper. Is one temp for the airport and another for a different location, like downtown?

I really appreciate your printing The Maui News. I spend way too much time on the computer already. We know times are hard, but some aspects of your paper are too important to change.
