Put a cap on contributions to political candidates

So far I have heard nothing from the candidates about reforming candidate contributions. Some years ago this made its way to the Supreme Court and they decided that it is OK for a company to donate any amount, like the Koch brothers donating $200,000,000. This is not right.

Special interest groups like the NRA, the petroleum industry, Wall Street, tech companies and many more give millions to the candidate that will vote the way that they want them to. Koch brothers give $200,000,000, which is tax deductible and then get a tax break.

They made money, that makes business sense. Put a cap of $2,000. Change the laws. That’s why they call them amendments. The Constitution is not perfect, it is up to our lawmakers to keep trying to make it that way.
