Mahi Pono cattle plans not advisable; grow hemp

Mahalo to the reader who called out Mahi Pono’s plan to raise livestock, going against all recent trends in cattle farming, but also degrading our soil and our humanity (Letters, Oct. 18). Let’s make Maui the best in the world for sustainable agriculture. Yes, we cannabis!
