Haiku subscriber upset over delivery delays

OK, for months now, I no longer receive my morning paper delivered in the morning. Instead, it is delivered in the afternoon mail, sometimes the afternoon of the next day or given holidays the afternoon two days later.

On Black Friday afternoon at 2 p.m., my Thursday Thanksgiving paper arrived along with my Black Friday paper loaded with ads for door buster specials. Myself and fellow Haiku neighbors received these ads too late to take advantage of the sale prices.

Hopefully advertisers were given a huge discount for these insertions in The Maui News, given it has a limited timely distribution. Enough with the excuses. Hire someone to deliver before advertisers look elsewhere; they can direct mail too!
