Election results show democracy is waning

We are at a critical juncture in our nation’s history. Our democracy is waning. Half the people want President Trump. He kept the United States afloat and growing in the middle of a pandemic and took half the popular vote. This is his legacy.

How many presidents can claim this?

Now the media is summarily dismissing him.

I am not hopeful that career politician and president-elect Joe Biden can do any better. State-sanctioned and institutionalized racism has been alive and well since slavery was abolished. Our national debt is out of control for half a century. And dead people continue to vote in 50 states.

Tell me. Does it really matter? How many of our deceased ancestors voted? That’s what I want to know.
