‘Nicest group of postal employees anywhere’

I had to mail a package at the Kihei Post Office the other day.

The line was out the door and down the concrete walkway. Oh boy, I thought, it was going to be an hour before I get to the counter.

It wasn’t that bad because everyone was keeping six feet between each other per COVID-19 rules, thus the long line. Everyone was wearing masks, too.

This big mahalo goes out to the Kihei postal workers who are working the front counter:

Those who take our packages, sell us stamps and answer all our questions.

They are the nicest group of postal employees anywhere. I find them to be courteous, friendly and taking care of business in an efficient pace. Bear in mind that they now have to work behind Plexiglas and plastic curtains, and wear masks all while trying to conduct business and understand people talking through masks. Cannot be easy day in and day out for them.

However, they keep a positive attitude and friendly spirit, which is contagious for all that enter their post office. Mahalo to each of them. You are appreciated.
