Protect Hawaii’s economy, require vaccination proof
Now that Hawaii is making great progress at vaccinating our citizens, it’s time to think of next steps.
Our health care systems are moving ahead with great speed to protect everyone that lives here.
To protect Hawaii’s fragile economy, the governor and the Legislature should take steps require that all visitors and returning residents show proof of vaccination just like we have been doing with proof of negative testing.
This will help improve the chances we won’t have another outbreak of coronavirus and keep everyone more confident in public spaces. Our restaurants and other public places of gathering will be safer.
Nothing is perfect, but this will move us toward a safer posture against the virus.
