Respect vaccine choices, but decisions can change

Because I am in excellent health, my personal choice is not to get flu, pneumonia or any kind of vaccination.

So, when the COVID-19 vaccines were developed, I chose not to participate.

Well, things change. After a lot of soul searching, and some prompting from my 97-year-old Scrabble partner, I decided to take the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. (One jab is enough for me, thank you.)

After hearing Mayor Victorino say that even though he would like to see everyone vaccinated, he respected people’s individual decisions, it confirmed what I already knew that we have elected the right mayor.
