Boosters deprive others elsewhere of vaccination?

I received my notice the other day that I was eligible for my third COVID shot.

This “booster shot” was strongly recommended by the CDC for someone of my age.

About the same time, WHO came out with a strongly worded recommendation that anyone who has been fully vaccinated, and does not have serious comorbidities, should not get the booster, as there are still approximately 3.5 billion people in the world, mostly people of color, who have yet to receive one shot.

I don’t really trust WHO or CDC, but on this one I’m going to follow WHO’s recommendation.

Who knows, maybe that one additional shot can save the life of someone in the world less fortunate.
