Opportunity to lead nation with ineligibility for ballot

Hawai’i residents can appeal to the chief election officer of Hawai’i to perform his duty under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and disqualify former President Trump from Hawai’i’s ballot.

Trump “engaged” in the Jan. 6 insurrection as an elected official. The judge in the Marjorie Green case listed “physical efforts, contribution of personal services or capital, issuance of directives or marching orders, transmissions of intelligence, or even statements of encouragement” as criteria for engagement in the insurrection.

Moreover, Mr. Trump’s refusal to act to stop the insurrection gave “aid and comfort to the enemy.”

Only in some alternative universe is he eligible to be on the ballot in Hawai’i for elected office. Email the chief election officer. Hawai’i has an opportunity to lead. Sign the petition at: https://www.change .org/DisqualifyTrumpHawaiiBallot.
