Baldwin plays No. 1 Punahou tough one night after win over No. 2 Farrington

December 22, 2013 - Robert Collias
The Baldwin High School boys basketball team has four players 6-foot-3 or taller.

The Bears, however, are led by 6-2 Teva Eldridge.

Eldridge had 17 points, two assists and a steal in the Bears' 46-39 loss to No. 1-ranked Punahou tonight in the final of the Punahou Invitational.

That came one night after Eldridge scored 15 points, grabbed 17 rebounds and had seven assists in a 56-49 win over No. 2-ranked Farrington.

Lahainaluna is 11-3 in non-league play going into today's action at the Lahainaluna Invitational. Defending MIL D-I champion King Kekaulike is going to be tough, too.

MIL play begins next week and it appears to me, however, the Bears are the Division I team to beat.
