MIL boys basketball tournaments shaping up to be wide open

February 9, 2014 - Robert Collias
Both the Division I and Division II boys basketball tournaments could be exciting, despite regular-season champions Baldwin and Seabury Hall having just one loss between them.

Here is the start of our roundup from today's paper, leading with Seabury Hall's one-point escape on Lanai:

Cameron King scored 27 points as the Seabury Hall boys basketball team defeated Lanai 55-54 on Saturday at Lanai City to complete a perfect Maui Interscholastic League regular season.

Bryce Barbier added 10 points and Duncan Harrisson had nine for the Spartans, who finished 12-0 in Division II.

Koanui Nefalar, Kerl Manuel, Kealoha Kahanaui and Markus Koep each scored nine points for the Pines Lads (4-8), who outscored the Spartans 18-13 in the fourth quarter.
