FIRST PHOTO: About 50 people prayed during a Good Friday service at Wailuku Door of Faith Church, marking the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. The first half of the service was for personal Holy Communion and meditation, while the second half offered readings and hymns by the church choir. Among those in the pews were Kainalu Bediamol (above), 7, of Wailuku and his mother, Lisa. "We want to remember that God sent his son, Jesus, not only as our teacher, but to save us from our sins," said Pastor Barbara Tengan.
