Hawaii baseball loses at Cal Poly

April 13, 2013
The Maui News

The University of Hawaii baseball team lost its sixth straight game, 8-3 to Cal Poly in the opener of a Big West Conference series in San Luis Obispo, Calif., on Friday.

Kaeo Aliviado and Austin Wobrock each had a pair of hits for the Rainbows (7-23 overall, 2-5 Big West), but that was not enough against Joey Wagman, who pitched an eight-hitter.

Wagman (7-2) got 11 hits of support, including three from Demver Chavez, for the Mustangs (23-8, 5-2).

Connor Little (1-5) took the loss after giving up six runs - four earned - in six innings.
