'HAPPY DAY' FILM EVENT AT THE MACC
Mental Health Kokua and the Angkor Wat International Film Festival will present "Happy Day," an event dedicated to promoting happiness through the preservation of culture and the environment, at Maui Arts & Cultural Center's McCoy Studio Theater. Films will include "Wild Africa" and an IMAX visit to the Grand Canyon at 10 a.m.; "Cirque Du Soleil - Worlds Away" at noon; "Bhutan-The Height of Happiness" and "Papua" at 2 p.m.; and "Chasing Ice" at 4 p.m. At 7 p.m., Maui artist-scientist Dr. Gary Greenberg will offer a presentation titled "A Three-Dimensional Journey into the Magical Microscopic World of Ordinary Things," followed by visionary German filmmaker Werner Herzog's "Cave of Forgotten Dreams 3D."
