The Maui News

First Photo: "Auntie Edna," as Edna Pualani Farden Bekeart was known affectionately to others, was the last surviving sibling of the musical Farden family of Lahaina. She was a music teacher at Kamehameha Schools Kapalama campus on Oahu and singer with her family's group, "The Farden Sisters." Bekeart died June 17 in Kaneohe, Oahu, at the age of 95. A story on her life was published Thursday. Marnie McManus (left) looks through a photo album at a funeral for her great-aunt Bekeart on Friday at Holy Innocents Church.
