Friday A 1980s show and dance band, will flashback to the timeless, neon-colored decade when the group takes the Wailuku Banyan Tree Park stage at Wailuku's First Friday. The free, community event from 6 to 9 p.m. closes down the Main to Vineyard block of Market for the street party that started it all. Food, entertainment, activities, shopping deals and more will pack a parade of people into historic Wailuku town. Check out Maui Thing stage: Freedom's Progress at 6:15 p.m.; Boys and Girls Club kids at 7:15 p.m.; and Push-O-Verse at 7:30 p.m. Starting at 6 p.m., Joel Katz will play Hawaiian steel guitar at 33 N.
