Remaining Passover services announced
The Jewish Congregation of Maui has announced its schedule for remaining Passover services.
The schedule is:
* Today, 6:29 p.m., light candles.
* Saturday, 10 a.m. Shabbat and Pesach service, including Shir Hashirim/Song of Songs.
* Sunday, 6:29 p.m., light candles; 6:30 p.m. Pesach 7th night service.
* Monday, 10 a.m., Pesach 7th day service; candles after dark.
* Tuesday, 10 a.m., Pesach 8th day service.

Good Friday Tenebre Service set
Po'okela Church will hold its Good Friday Tenebre Service at 7 p.m. today.
The church's Easter service will be at 9 a.m. Sunday. The church will provide a light breakfast, and, for children, there will be an Easter egg hunt and a jumping castle, among other activities.

Good Friday, Easter services announced
Kihei Lutheran Church will host a joint Good Friday service with members of Trinity Episcopal Church By-the-Sea at 7 p.m. today at the church located at the corner of Piilani Highway and Moi Place.
The service will feature readings of Christ's passion and the extinguishing of candles. It will include Kihei Lutheran's choir, along with its men's quartet, 4-Given.
On Easter Sunday, the resurrection of Christ will be celebrated at Kihei Lutheran Church with services at 8 and 10:30 a.m. Both services will include Holy Communion, along with the congregation's choir and hula group.
Between services, starting at 9:15 a.m., there will be a Keiki Resurrection Celebration, with a congregational luau/potluck lunch beginning at noon.

Sisters celebrating anniversary May 3
The Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet will celebrate 75 years in Maui County with a special Mass and a luncheon of thanksgiving, according to an announcement.
The event will be held May 3 at Holy Rosary Church in Paia with a Mass at 10 a.m., followed by a luncheon under a tent. Monsignor Terry Watanabe will preside during Mass.
The sisters will mark three anniversaries: their 75 years in Maui County; Sister Catherine Anthony Acain's 60 years of consecrated religious life; and 25 years of covenant relationship with the sisters' order ohana.
The event is open to all in Maui County who've been ministered by the sisters.
Easter service to feature singers
Keawala'i Congregational Church's Easter Sunday service will feature members of the Na Leo Nahenahe adult choir singing with members of the Children's Ensemble.
George Kahumoku of Kahakuloa will share his slack-key music and hymns.
The service begins at 7:30 a.m. The outdoor service will include the sharing of the Lord's Supper and the Easter floral cross. Those attending the service are encouraged to bring single-stem flowers or lei for the cross.

Sunrise Devotional service planned
Valley Isle Fellowship will celebrate Easter with a Sunrise Devotional service at 6 a.m. Sunday at its Waikapu property.
Pastor Stephen Kaneshiro will share the good news of the "Victory in the Garden," according to an announcement. At 9 a.m., the church will hold a service with the message "Still Victorious." Breakfast will follow.
The property is off Waiale Road and next to the Waikapu Gardens subdivision. Those attending services should follow the driveway to the tent and follow directions on where to park.
