Kansas State player opts to transfer
MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) – Kansas State forward Jack Karapetyan has decided to transfer after playing in just six games during his freshman season last year because of a foot injury.
Wildcats coach Bruce Weber announced the decision in a brief statement Monday. Karapetyan, who received a medical hardship waiver, has not said where he intends to resume his playing career.
Kansas State is one of eight teams competing in the EA Sports Maui Invitational from Nov. 24-26 at the Lahaina Civic Center.
