Cal State Northridge dominates UH women, 49-29

The University of Hawaii women’s basketball team lost to Cal State Northridge 49-29 on Thursday night at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu.

The Rainbow Wahine shot just 22.2 percent (12-for-54) from the field, making just three of their 23 3-point attempts. They were also outrebounded 46-29.

Courtney Middap, Lauren Rewers, Makenna Woodfolk and Lahni Salanoa each scored five points to lead Hawaii (5-11, 1-2 Big West), which plays at Cal Poly next Thursday.

Meghann Henderson had 12 points for the Matadors (8-9, 2-1).
