The Lahainaluna High School girls basketball team finished off another perfect regular season Thursday night, winning its 160th Maui Interscholastic League game in a row 58-35 over King Kekau­like in Pukalani.

Ashley Akamine scored 19 points and Susi Namoa added 18 for the Lunas, who finished the MIL regular season 12-0. The Lunas led 22-5 at the end of the first quarter before Na Alii cut the lead to 36-25 at halftime.

Namahana Kaeo-Young led King Kekaulike (9-3) with 13 points and Cailyn Ukida added 11.

The Lunas and Na Alii will be the two seeds for the upcoming MIL tournament. Lahainaluna plays the winner of Saturday’s game between Kamehameha Maui and Baldwin in the first semifinal Monday at Jon Garcia Gym in Wailuku. King Kekaulike faces third-seeded Maui High in the nightcap.
