Tilburg leads UH to sweep of McKendree

Stijn van Tilburg had 18 kills as the University of Hawaii men’s volleyball team defeated McKendree 25-10, 25-19, 25-18 on Thursday in the BYU Invite in Provo, Utah.

Rado Parapunov added 14 kills, three aces and five blocks as the second-ranked Rainbow Warriors improved to 18-0, with every win coming via sweep.

King Kekaulike High School graduate Colton Cowell finished with five kills, six digs and a block for UH. Joe Worsley had 39 assists and Gage Worsley had nine digs.

McKendree was led by Brendon Dunn’s 12 kills.

The Rainbow Warriors face Princeton today and then host BYU, ranked No. 8 in the country, on Saturday.
