Baldwin piles up 17 hits, downs Kamehameha 12-1 in 5 innings

MIL SOFTBALL

The Baldwin High School softball team had 17 hits as the Bears concluded the Maui Interscholastic League regular season with a 12-1, five-inning win over Kamehameha Maui on Saturday at Patsy Mink Field in Kahului.

Saree-Ann Kekahuna, Avei Silifaiva, Alyssa Ferreira and Sammy Martinez each had three hits and two RBIs for the Bears (8-4). Martinez had two of Baldwin’s five doubles.

Bears pitcher Aliya Harmon allowed one run on two hits and four walks while striking out six.

The Warriors fell to 6-6.
