Basketball

June 10-13–Westside Hoops and Project Thrive’s Another Level Basketball Camp will be held June 10-13 at Lahaina Civic Center and Lahainaluna High School gym. The camp is open to boys and girls in grades 2-5 (at Lahaina Civic Center) and 6 and up (Lahainaluna). Sessions run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. The cost is $99. Football

June 13-14–The Na Koa Football Camp is scheduled for June 13-14 at Kamehameha Schools Maui’s Kanaiaupuni Stadium in Pukalani. The free camp, open to players in grades 5-8, is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day. It is being run by Warriors players Tiliti Adams, Kapena Gushikuma and Slade Teshima. Guest coaches are certified Nike trainer David Kamalani, ThePathwayMaui founder Thomas Tonu and former NFL player Joseph Siofele. The deadline to register is June 9. Golf

July 12–The 12th annual Lahainaluna High School Class Challenge Golf Tournament will be held on July 12 at the Hawaii Prince Golf Club in Ewa Beach, Oahu. The event, hosted by the Lahainaluna High School Foundation, features a team shamble format. Four-person teams can compete in one of three categories: all class (all four members from the same LHS graduating class), some class (minimum one member from any LHS class) and Luna supporter (open to anyone). Single players will be placed into one of the team categories. The entry fee is $700 per team or $175 per single player and includes lunch, dinner and two mulligans. Tee and tournament sponsorships start at $200. Multisport

June 10-14–Hope Chapel will hold its “Sports Camp 2019: Beyond the Gold” from June 10-14 at the church located at 300 E. Welakahao Road in Kihei. The camp runs from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. each day and will include instruction in the following sports/activities: basketball (6-12 year olds), cheer (6-12, girls only), tennis (8-12), soccer (6-12), ultimate frisbee (8-12), legos (8-12), drama (8-12), art (8-12) and Team 45, which is for skills and rhythm development for children ages 4-5. Saturday–The deadline to register for the No Ka Oi Soccer Tournament is Saturday. The tournament will be held from June 12-15 at the Eddie Tam Complex in Makawao and is open to boys and girls teams from U9 to U19. For more information, call Tony Medeiros at 250-9460.

Tennis

June 4–The USTA Play to Learn Tennis program will have two summer sessions, the first starting the week of June 4 and the second on July 22. On Tuesdays at Kahului Community Center, there will be youth intermediate (ages 12-16) and youth beginner (6-8, 9-11) classes. On Thursdays at KCC, there will be youth advanced beginner (9-11) and youth beginner (9-11, 6-8) classes. On Wednesdays at Eddie Tam courts in Makawao, there will be youth advanced beginner (9-11) and youth beginner (6-8, 9-11) classes. The cost is $30. Racquets and balls will be provided.
