Wailea Fall Doubles set for Nov. 9-11
The deadline to sign up for the Wailea Fall Doubles Tennis Tournament is today at 5 p.m.
The tournament, which benefits the Semper Fi Fund, is Nov. 9-11 at the Wailea Tennis Club.
The entry fee is $47 for one event and $57 for two. There is also a silent auction that will be held in conjunction with the tournament.
A portion of the entry fees, as well as 100 percent of silent auction proceeds, will go to the Semper Fi Fund, which provides immediate financial assistance and lifetime support to post-9/11 wounded, critically ill and injured members of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Watanabe of Kahului records ace at Waiehu
Ivan Watanabe of Kahului sank a hole-in-one on Oct. 23 at Waiehu Municipal Golf Course.
Watanabe used a 7-iron to ace the No. 2 hole from 113 yards. Witnesses were Jules Ino, Charles Kahakauwila and Ernie Manibog.
Gonzaga of Kihei has hole-in-one at Maui Nui
Ancieto Gonzaga of Kihei hit a hole-in-one on Wednesday at Maui Nui Golf Club.
Gonzaga aced the 127-yard seventh hole using a 3-hybrid. Debbie and Henry Cook, and Doug Erbe witnessed the shot.
