Racquetball players place at state event

A pair of Maui players finished in the top three of their divisions at last weekend’s Hawaii Racquetball Championship, held at The Honolulu Club on Oahu.

Clayton Nishikawa was runner-up in the men’s A division, while Jerome Piano took third in the men’s open division.

Wailuku’s Riglos hits hole-in-one at Waiehu

Juanito Riglos of Wailuku recorded a hole-in-one on Monday at Waiehu Municipal Golf Course.

Riglos used a 6 iron to ace the 150-yard eighth hole. Vanessa Riglos witnessed the shot.

Ehman of Kihei aces No. 12 at Maui Nui

Rod Ehman of Kihei hit a hole-in-one on Tuesday at Maui Nui Golf Club.

Ehman aced the No. 12 hole from 174 yards using a 3 wood. Among the witnesses were Sal Orozco and Lorenzo Jensen.

Williams of California records ace at Wailea

Dave Williams of Chico, Calif., made a hole-in-one on Sunday at the Wailea Emerald Course.

Williams aced the 13th hole from 109 yards using a 50-degree club. Witnesses were Curt Martin and Landon Williams.
