Phone interviews to be held for Maui Titans

Maui Titans Fastpitch Softball will be holding phone interviews for new players interested and committed to being part of its Mainland travel teams for the summer of 2021.

The Maui Titans currently have players ages 11-16 years old on various teams. Phone interviews will be held Nov. 23-25 from 4-6 p.m. Individual workouts for skills evaluation may be set up based on interviews.

Motooka of Wailuku has ace at Waiehu

Bobby Motooka of Wailuku made a hole-in-one on Friday at Waiehu Municipal Golf Course.

Motooka aced the No. 2 hole from 135 yards using a 9-iron. Witnesses were Mich Domingo, Leighton Saito and Danny Kawahara.


DeCoite of Pukalani has hole-in-one

Henry DeCoite of Pukalani sank a hole-in-one on Sunday at Pukalani Country Club.

DeCoite used a 7-iron to ace the 138-yard eighth hole. Witnesses were Lee Takahisa and Harry Fong.


California’s Roulet aces No. 6 at Wailea Gold

Michael Roulet of Plymouth, Calif., made a hole-in-one on Sunday at the Wailea Gold Course.

Roulet used his driver to ace the No. 6 hole from 241 yards. Jeremy Tamayo, Chris Wray and Aaron Albillas witnessed the shot.
