The Milwaukee Brewers’ Kolten Wong waves to the crowd as they give him a standing ovation as he steps up to bat during the first inning of a game against the St. Louis Cardinals on Thursday. Wong, who spent eight years with the Cardinals, was making his first appearance back at Busch Stadium since St. Louis declined his option last fall. Later in the game, the former University of Hawaii standout from Hilo aggravated a left oblique strain, according to a story posted on MLB.com, and could be headed to the injured list.
