Dragons sweep Na Pueo 3-0

Tyra Perry had 15 kills to lead the Hana High School girls volleyball team to sweep Maui Preparatory Academy 25-14, 25-14, 25-13 on Friday night at the Bozich Center in Napili.

Pumehana Helekahi added eight kills and eight aces for the Dragons, which improved 3-0 in Maui Interscholastic League Division II play. Hana’s Pristine Perry dished out 17 assists and had two aces, Briseis Keaulana also had two aces and three digs, and Maya Ploi-Blasi added four aces.

Haley Walpole led Na Pueo (1-1) with five kills on Friday night. Avery Kirkham had four aces, five digs, and one block.

• MOLOKAI 3, ST. ANTHONY 0: At Hoolehua, Lia-Chae Meyer had 10 kills while Daisci Burrows dished out 29 assists to lead the Lady Farmers (1-2) to a 25-8, 25-6, 25-10 win over the Trojans (0-2) on Friday night. Molokai’s Jordyn McCutcheon, who totaled nine kills, scored the final point in the third set to finish the match.

Riana Hoopii led St. Anthony with three kills, Maya Holifield added two, and Giada Colombo had three digs and four assists.
