Spartans Shine on ‘Dig Pink’

FIRST PHOTO: Seabury Hall’s Kekua Richards hits a first-set shot against the block of Kamehameha Maui during Wednesday night’s Dig Pink scrimmage at Erdman Athletic Center. Seabury Hall, a Maui Interscholastic League Division II team, won the exhibition contest 25-13, 24-26, 25-17, 25-13. Caelyn Hasegawa led the Spartans with 27 assists, Kekua Richards had 13 kills and four blocks, Malia Bennett smacked 12 kills and three aces, Skylar Conley added seven kills, and Caroline Belew had four kills and four blocks. Statistics for Kamehameha Maui, an MIL D-I team, were not reported.
