Warriors, Bears boys and girls all sweep

The Kamehameha Schools Maui and Baldwin boys and girls bowling teams all collected 3-0 wins in Maui Interscholastic League action on Saturday at Wailuku Lanes.
The Kamehameha Maui girls beat Maui High, 3-0 by forfeit — the Warriors were led by Jayna Kanoholani-Haglan, who rolled a 145 game; Tahan Valdez recorded a 141 score; and Taytum Chai and Jordan Holokai-Jacinto both scored 119.
Jacy Anne Dela Cruz rolled a 105 for the Sabers girls.
The Kamehameha Maui boys also recorded a 3-0 win over Maui High. Anson Cabello (235), Luke Kahuhu (201) and Jasyah Macugay (178) l;ed the Warriors. Maui High’s scorers were Jarred Peros (120), Isaiah Cabatu (117), and Chase Nozaki (114).
The Baldwin girls beat Kihei Charter 3-0 by forfeit. Kaycee Takai (182) and Kalena Torres-Estores (164) led the Bears. Mia Holmberg (101) was the only scorer for Kihei Charter.
The Baldwin boys also swept Kihei Charter. Jarin Tateishi (156) and Kelvyn Saito (149) led the Bears, while Kihei Charter got a 164 from Kiernan Dowellgrim.
