Four new COVID-19 cases in the state, one on Maui
After days of dwindling new COVID-19 cases, there is a slight uptick in cases today as four new cases have been reported in the state.
One of those new cases is in Maui County, which had gone nearly a week and a half with no new cases. Maui County’s total is now 118 cases.
The state total is now 647.
Hawaii island saw three of the other new cases and now has a total of 82.
Honolulu County remains at 416 cases and Kauai at 21 cases.
Out of the state total, 83 cases have required hospitalization, an increase of one since Wednesday.
Also, 579 people have been released from isolation, also up one since Wednesday.
