123 new COVID-19 cases, four on Maui
Today is not a record-setting day for COVID-19 cases across the state, but it came fairly close as 123 new cases were reported as of noon today, according to the state Department of Health.
On Thursday, 124 new COVID-19 cases were reported, setting a record daily high.
In today’s totals were four new cases on Maui and 118 new cases on Oahu. Due to updated information one case from Oahu was removed from the counts.
The state case count is now 2,111.
Hawaii County’s total is 115 and Kauai County with 47.
A total of 23 Hawaii residents have been diagnosed outside the state.
Also, a total of 1,243 have been released from isolation.
